The morning we left Sault Ste Marie, our coffee pour-over carafe shattered. With not many options around, we try to find a solution to our coffee conundrum. We drive to Gwinn, MI where we stay at Gwinn Tourist Park campground for our base to explore Marquette, MI. Gwinn is also a small town where we visit the Farmer's market, stroll through downtown, and try some sandwiches from Daisy Jo's Diner.

While visiting downtown Maquette, we try out a few breweries and pizza places as well as grab ice cream at Jilbert's Dairy. We search for the Marquette Harbor Lighthouse, walk through the Marquette Maritime Museum, pass by the Ore Docks, then make our way to Ore Dock Brewing for beers and dinner from Smelted Pizza. As our final stop in Michigan, we stay at a Harvest Host in Escanaba called Upper Hand Brewery. The beer was great and coincidentally the pizza served was also from Smelted Pizza.
