Last week, Emily and I showed you around the York Fairgrounds prior to the Airstream Club International Rally starting. This week you can follow along with us to see what we did while we were there.

From opening to closing ceremonies, we had an absolutely fantastic time. We started the week with the Content Creators Meet & Greet. There was a pretty low expectation of how many people would come by to see us and the other folks who make Airstream related content, but nearly 300 people showed up. Emily and I were able to meet a ton of people during the event that watch our videos (thank you so much) and meet some new folks who were there to support some of the other people there, but were looking for a new channel to follow.

After that we attended the opening ceremonies, where Emily was a flag bearer for our club. The Riveted Fox Happy Hour was an amazing time filled with socializing, prize give aways, and general bantering. Emily and I were given an “official guest” sticker which we will be displaying for future Rallies.

Over and over again, we talk about how many people we met, and that isn’t just something we focused on as creators, but as members of the Airstream community. We had so many conversations that were really just about learning about someone’s story and learning more about their rig.

We attended seminars and general talks. The state of Airstream was particularly interesting. The Vintage Airstream Club put on a dance and a parade, both of which I would go to see again! Grapes and Grains (an intraclub) sponsored a “mega-tasting” with liquor, beer, and wine as well as some non-alcoholic options.

This Rally was excellent and we can’t wait to see everyone in Minot, ND next year!
