Thousands of Peanuts…and Dozens of Airstreams! - National Peanut Festival

Over Halloween, we spent some time in Dothan, Alabama. We were lucky enough to arrive before the Dothan Peanut Festival Airstream Rally and got to stop by Folklore Brewing for a few drinks before everyone else arrived. When everyone else did arrive, we got to stop by Folklore a few more times, it is one of our favorite breweries that we have visited since beginning our travels.

The Rally, hosted by the Emerald Coast Airstream Club and the Georgia Airstream club was held at Hidden Hollow RV Resorts, just a few miles down the road from Dothan Peanut Festival grounds. We met lots of new people and ran in to old friends (some of whom we just met a few weeks earlier at the Cumberland Gap rally).

We visited the Peanut Festival and saw vendors, rides, cars, tractors, and finally the 4H and FFA competitions. We have never been to one of these and the competition was pretty incredible.
