Full-Time RV Travel with Dogs: Here's What we Learned

We have been camping with our dogs since 2018 and traveling full-time with them since May 2024. We have learned a few things along the way, and wanted to share tips with you. We have an English Springer Spaniel, a German Short-haired Pointer, and an Old English Sheepdog who love exploring new places and meeting new people.

We discuss getting your dog acquainted with your new RV, how to handle vet visits while on the road, where to buy dog food and dog supplies, and how we setup our Ford F-250 for the dogs on travel days. We groom the dogs ourselves, so we show the grooming tools we use, and where we take the dogs for baths to keep them clean while traveling. We answer the most asked question, "Where do they all sleep?!" Then we talk about how we keep them healthy with exercise and all of the dog accessories we have with us in the truck and in the camper. Brad from Thirteen Adventures weighs in advice about traveling with pets on the road. Finally, we say goodbye.

Brad with ThirteenAdventures  graciously shared his perspective about traveling full-time with Piper, their Golden Retriever.
